High Museum of Art

High Museum of Art

Date of Visit: November 5th, 2011, Saturday
Place: High Museum of Art (Atlanta, USA) – www.high.org/
Exhibitions: Picasso to Warhol / The Sculpture of Grainger McKoy

“High Museum of Art” is a kind of place must be seen. There are a lot of exhibitions and events at the same time. We went there to see an exhibition called “Picasso to Warhol”. And also, we had a chance to see another exhibition, “The Sculpture of Grainger McKoy”.

I think both of them were very exciting. Paintings, drawings, design (especially Warhol’s) and the animal sculptures of Grainger McKoy were incredibly marvelous.  But I have to confess that presentation of all the masterpieces are enormously taken my attention. I can easily say that presentation was very clean, simple and also magnificent.

Entrance of the museum is not free. But there is a chance for holders of Georgia Institute of Technology (GaTech) ID card (Buzzcard). Museum is free every first Saturday of each month for Buzzcard holders. As for we have Buzzcard, we didn’t pay anything.

Here are some pictures from that day.
